Q: I have never dyed my hair before.  It’s pretty much virgin hair. I am after balayage.  Can it be done? If so, how much will it cost?

A: Virgin hair is great to work it.  It’s a blank canvas and we can easily predict the result.  It is achievable.  Cost wise, balayage packages (includes toner and cut) start from $395-$450.

 

Q:  I just recently had my hair keratin straightened.  How soon can I get my hair colour done?

A: Contact your hairdresser who did your keratin straightening.  They are the best people to answer this question as it depends on what sort of chemical they use on your hair.  If you can’t get the information, the best way is call to arrange a free consultation so we can test strand your hair.

Q: Can I get both consultation and hair done in one appointment?

A: Ideally, consultation first so we know how big/small of a job it is and therefore, book you in accordingly.  If you can’t come in for a consultation, give us a call so we can discuss over the phone first.

Q: I recently had my hair coloured.  However, it fades within a month.  Why does this happen? Is it normal?

A: It is perfectly normal for colour to fade.  However, depending on how much your natural hair grabs the colour, it is highly recommended that you come in for regular toner refresh service.  For longer lasting colour, we advise you use our recommended products.

 

Q: My hair is visibly a lot dryer after the lightening service.  Is this normal?

A: Lightening service results in dry ends.  How dry/damaged it is, it depends on your hair.  We advise you arrange to come in for a trim/treatment.

Q: My hair has been box dyed before, does that affect the lightening service?

A: Yes absolutely.  Depending on how light you want to go, you will need more than one session(s).
